Congratulations, Anna and Sang, married 11 February 2010!
Amongst the peacocks, green grounds and winter rose garden at the Los Angeles Arboretum, this couple had an intimate ceremony with just family. i was fortunate to have been found by the bride at the last minute...a week before the wedding.
Photography was by LISA TOP and RODD LINDSTROM (of Albertson Wedding Chapel?). They were a very cool team to work with. i hope to get some photos up soon.

Title: The Best Wedding Officiant in Maryland
http://www.weddingsfromtheheartmd.com Tina Beneman has been serving the local Maryland community as a wedding officiant for over 20 years. Let her years of experience guide you on your special day. Let your wedding ceremony be blessed by her and her presence!
The smallest wedding ceremonies are so intimate, and so special. There were fewer than twenty guests total, including two male partners who walked their best friend, these two ladies, down the aisle. It was held in a small art gallery on Glendale Blvd.
The ceremony concluded with jumping the broom:
"To end the ceremony, Karen will place a broom on the ground for Lisa and Brandy to jump over. This is to respect the ancestory of the past...a time where freedoms like these were absent.
Brooms themselves symbolize the hearth, which has historically been the center of the home. The handle of the broom represents a common source of spiritual strength, while the brooms straws represent the new family Lisa and Brandy created today. There is a ribbon to symbolize the love and commitment that ties everything together.
As they jump from one side to the other, they leave their former lives as individuals and enter a new life together as a married couple. The broom is an opportunity to sweep away past difficulties, problems and fears, as today is a new beginning for Brandy and Lisa.

Title: Sarah & Alex ♥ Our beautiful (lesbian) wedding
I made this clip using pictures from our wedding (registered partnership) in may 2008. I want to share this, to show that *we* also have a right to be happy with the one we love, this is for the gay community to encourage every one of you to stand up for your rights and for your happiness.
The song is "Forever" by Debra Arlyn.
Dedicated to my wife, Alexandra, whom I love more than anyone else on the face of this earth.

My Big Gay Italian Wedding To Raise Money, Laughs In St. George - NY1.com. NY1 interview with Anthony Wilkinson prior to the September 2009 Charity Performance at the St. George Theatre.
This was a very cool clip...Bride and groom provided us with their footage from the sky dive they did a while back, which happened to include some awesome footage of the actual "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"...This is a perfect example of why each and every couple should have their proposal on video...The guys who shot this did an excellent job. You couldn't pay me enough to jump out of a perfectly good airplane...LOL...

Kerry and Paul's wedding was going to be just the way I like my weddings - relaxed, chilled out and interesting with lots of opportunities to capture natural, happy images of them both enjoying a fabulous wedding day celebration with family and friends.
The weather was great all day - clear blue skies and fluffy white clouds - and although I would prefer slightly overcast, it's a lot better than wind and rain coming in sideways!
It was the second recent wedding I have photographed at Holy Saviours Church in Tynemouth and although there are restrictions on photography, the church itself is very nice inside and it also has a small pretty garden area with a nice lawn and shrubs for a few relaxed portraits.
Soon enough we were off to the very smart Arch Restaurtant in the Tynemouth for the reception and speeches with some wonderful food.
There was time to get a few photographs of Kerry and Paul too later on before we headed off for the evening reception by walking through the main street and cliff tops to Crusoes Café on the beach at Tynemouth Longsands.
There were a few additional guests arriving, but before they did Kerry and Paul and I and some of their closest friends gallopped down to the water's edge for some fun photos too.
The North Sea on the north east coast of England is never the most attractive location, but this evening the gods shined upon us all, the sea looked as blue as the Caribbean and the setting sun warmed us all up nicely and made for some great photographs to finish off a wedding album or print as a large canvas or acrylic.
A great day of celebration - and then it was off to Egypt for Kerry and Paul, with their proof prints and presentation box awaiting their return!
If you are marrying at Tynemouth soon, give me a call and I'd be happy to advise and help you with your wedding day photography and plans.
