My dad is the smartest man in the world. I've been convinced of this since I was maybe 2 years old. Still am, and it's not blindly that I think this. Ask him why he feels the way he does about any given issue, and you'll get some incredibly logical, well-informed reasoning. He's also the strongest. The guy has run a 100-mile race in less than 30 hours. And the bravest. And the kindest. Yup. I'm fairly certain my dad is a super human. He works harder than anyone I've ever met and has this insanely high level of self discipline that I wish I'd inherited. He's taught my brother and sister and I to be fair and keep our integrity. He goes out of his way to make sure we all have the means to follow our desired path. He is patient - most notably on a trip to New York, where he braved 3 Broadway musicals, and waited patiently outside stores while my mom and sister and I shopped. He always puts other's needs before his own. The admirable qualities aside, he also has a fantastic sense of humor. The home he and my mother created for my siblings and I is full of laughter and love. Daddy, you're wonderful. Thank you so much for everything and a belated happy father's day! ?

Once again! I am back! I've been so busy with college and finals that I've totally neglected this blog, but I'm on winter break now. Hopefully, that will allow for some more updates for at least the next couple of weeks or at least until the Winter quarter begins. As you can all see, I've switched up the layout. Yes, it's pink! Don't like PINK? Well, too bad, because I got some hot love for PINK!
Moving along though, life's been really good overall minus my lack of sleep. I've been sleeping at 3am almost everyday. I'm shocked my dark circles haven't gotten worse by now. I'm slowly making up the sleep though. As usual, I've been doing a lot of shopping, but I need to be banned from shopping after the holidays! So..pictures and details. Of course all this is cumulative over the past month.
I got a 25% discount at the Coach store in the mail and this is what I got! I LOVE LOVE my Sabrina purse, and I've gotten so many compliments on it carrying it around. The two pairs of shoes were on sale in stores, so with the discount it was a steal!
After reading about it, I picked up both of these products at my local Japanese beauty store. For those who live in the San Gabriel Valley area, the store is called Takishima, which is located right next to the 99 Ranch plaza. The egg mask was $5.99 and the Lucido wax was $8.99, so the prices are pretty decent. I haven't been using both of the products enough to state my opinion, but I will for sure talk about it some more once I get around to using it some more.

The Stila duos I got in a set for less than $20 at Costco. I'm not sure if they have it around anymore, but if you are able to get your hands on a set, they are great stocking stuffers for the holidays! I will be doing a review on the Urban Decay Lipstick and the Revlon lip gloss soon. I'm still trying to figure how I want to do it.
That's pretty much it for my shopping news this blog post. In other news, I really need to start my Christmas shopping. So much for trying to get it done earlier this year! It shall be fun nonetheless because I freakin' love Christmas shopping. I love the holiday spirit and the dazzling decorations! Bring it on! If only it could be the holiday season all the time. I wish!
Anyhow, I've got to go unpack all my crap I brought home from the dorms for the break. I brought back my freakishly large amount of clothes. I doubt I'm going to wear it all, and I still have tons of clothes hanging in my closet at home right now. Oh well! So that's all for now! Peace & Love!

In these designs I’ve started with focal pendant in beautiful agate slices. They are all naturally colored in shades of earthy fall – tan, green, gray-blue, rust, cream, white, and brown. The pendants are highly polished on both sides and the edges have been left slightly raw to rough; giving a true ‘earth’ look and feel to the pendants. The pendant is a free form wire wrap in shiny non-tarnish gold wire.
In this design (to the right) I’ve used the green agate slice and surrounded it with mosaic turquoise, toffee colored ceramic beads, gold tone spacers, and a touch of ivoryite for bold color. The pendant is wired in non-tarnish bronze wire.
This design (to the left) starts with a lovely focal pendant in an odd angular oval shape. The agate has more roughness to the edges is quite large, making it a perfect single pendant with matching swirl earrings. The wire is non-tarnish brass wire.
The last design (to the right) is a medium sized agate oval wired in non-tarnish brass wire. The base of the necklace is blue denim lapis, ivoryite, smooth brass rounds, and light blue-white lampwork beads.

Title: Grocery Shopping Fun @ Market Basket ("The Zoo"), Mall at Whitney Field
Courtesey of a nice $30 gift card from my workplace, we go to one of the Market Basket supermarket locations (Mall at Whitney Field, Leominster, Massachusetts), to stockpile groceries, with the help of said gift card. Problem here is, this place is mobbed 24/7/365. Here's a grocery run in the most crowded supermarket I've ever shopped in, and lucky me, this is actually a "dead" moment, which made things "easy"!
Another new design in the charmed versions I’m doing. This one has been referred to as a “Lady Bug”; the center focal is a murano glass large puffy red heart with black pot-a-dots. All around are hand-charmed pieces in freshwater cultured button pearls, bicone Swarovski Fire Opal crystals that bring out the deep red of the crystal among the orange, black onyx smooth tube and round black agate stones.
Nestled among the pieces I done double twist coils in artistic non-tarnish wire; along with the stationary swirls at either end; with the nesting of the charms, you could wear this necklace either direction giving it two different looks.
I really enjoy making these new pendant necklaces; so watch out for more of these to hit our online shop soon!

If it’s good weather, one can walk the length of the I10 freeway hotels and shop among miles of street vendors. These vendors take over almost every inch of hotel space/rooms, parking lots and sidewalks, ballrooms and lobbies, and even around the pool and courtyard areas.
Here one will find anything and everything you can image from raw materials cut from the mine, custom cut materials strung for beading, jewelry and gift items, equipment and tool for the beading enthusiast to the professional lapidary, and even see geodes the size of small buildings! There are merchants local to the area, vendors from across the country and many from around the world. Some vendors sell direct to the public while others will only sell wholesale; check with each vendor before purchase to determine if they sell to the public or wholesale only.
Last year, this is where we found a lot of great deals and very unusual gemstones; our resident gemologist added more raw materials for his collect during our Street Vendor day than anything time in Tucson.

The 2011 Hyundai Tucson — which goes by a variety of monikers depending on the market — will debut next month at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show.
Blue is one of my favorite colors and with the right mix of stones can make incredible designs. These two designs mix shades of blue in a deep navy almost sapphire colored crystals and a mix of natural stone.
I started with rectangular stones in exotic California Palm Wood Jasper. It has beautiful coloring in navy, tan, beige, purple, rust and black. To highlight the deep blue I added in irregular shaped freshwater cultured pearls in a soft yellow color. The faceted of the blue and clear crystals captures the light and accents against the jasper and pearls for a stunning necklace.
What’s different about this second necklace is that it is actual two strands; to get a bit of a ‘cluster’ effect I strung the pearls on two wires and then both through the larger crystals. These clusters are irregular shaped freshwater cultured pearls of yellow, tan and eggshell. The necklace is all graduated faceted rondelle crystals colored in two shades of blue, mostly a deep navy almost sapphire blue and then a few lighter blue at the base.
