CONGRATULATIONS: DaLo and ToSha! It was an absolute thrill and honour to officiate at the wedding of two very good friends. i have never officiated at a ceremony with so much crying! :) Luckily, i did all my choking up during the rehearsal and managed to keep my composure.
To end the ceremony, i read from the following quote by Richard Bach, about soulmates:
A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who were pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person were safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When were two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are weve found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life.

Title: Bruce Dickinson - Chemical Wedding
Chemical Wedding by Bruce Dickinson from his album, The Chemical Wedding (1998)
Track 02
Lyrics:
How happy is the human soul
Not enslaved by dull control
Left to dream and roam and play
Shed the guilt of former days
Walking on the foggy shore
Watch the waves come rolling home
Through the veil of pale moonlight
My shadow stretches out its hand
And so we lay, we lay in the same grave
Our chemical wedding day
And so we lay, we lay in the same grave
Our chemical wedding day
Floating in the endless blue
My seed of doubt I leave to you
Let it wither on the ground
Treat it like a plague you found
All my dreams that were outside
In living colour, now alive
And all the lighthouses
Their beams converge to guide me home
And so we lay, we lay in the same grave
Our chemical wedding day
And so we lay, we lay in the same grave
Our chemical wedding day
And so we lay, we lay in the same grave
Our chemical wedding day
And so we lay, we lay in the same grave
Our chemical wedding day
And so we lay, we lay in the same grave
Our chemical wedding day
And so we lay, we lay in the same grave
Our Chemical wedding day

Same Day Edit: Isaiash Reynoso & Cielito Leoncio Wedding
Most DIY brides know that you can get Adobe Illustrator as a trial for free for 30 days. I used up my 30 days designing the Save the Date cards nine months ago. Oops! I am not a professional graphic designer, and I couldn't justify the $600 price tag for my wedding alone. But, I still wanted to design my own wedding invitations. Turns out, you can get THREE free trials of Illustrator for a total of 90 days!
Ninety days should be plenty of time to design all the paper products for your wedding to your heart's content. Plus, since each trial is 30 days, you can stretch out those trials. Design your Save the Dates during one trial, then three months later design your invitations in trial 2, and design your menus and programs two months later in trial 3.
Here's how:
Step #1: Adobe Illustrator 30-day trial Download and install the Adobe Illustrator trial from this website. Use it for 30 days until the trial runs out. Uninstall Adobe Illustrator (in Windows: open Control Panel, then open Add/Remove Programs).
Step #2: Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium 30-day trial Download and install the Design Premium 30-day trial from this website. During installation, select only Illustrator unless you want all the other products to install as well. Use it for 30 days until the trial runs out. Uninstall the entire Design Premium Suite.
Step #2: Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection 30-day trial Download and install the Master Collection 30-day trial from this website. During installation, select only Illustrator unless you want all the other products to install as well. Use it for 30 days until the trial runs out. Uninstall the entire Master Collection Suite.
Final Tip: The last day of your trial is NOT the last time you get to use the software. After your 30-day trial has run out, the software will let you use it one last time before blocking you and forcing you to enter a serial number. Take this opportunity to save all of your work into non-Illustrator files (PDFs and JPEGs) so you can view, use, and print your beautiful designs later.
Note: I did all of this on Windows XP with the Adobe CS4 suite. I can't guarantee this will work on Macs, other Windows versions, or other Adobe suite versions. You may actually be able to get two more 30-day periods by installing the Creative Suite Web Premium and Production Premium trials, but I haven't tried it.

Title: Part 2 of 4 Adobe Illustrator Cs4 Creating a character , the inking job with the pen tool
http://davindageek.weebly.com/ Sup everyone, how are you doing today? =3 welcome to the part two of this tutorial, In this video I will show you how I use the Pen tool to ink my cartoons with line art. Lol it can take a while so that is why I did a time laps in the middle to help speed it up. Lol it sucks sometimes, you can be about three or two minutes over the time limit here on your video for youtube, and that stinks xD, oh well, I'm happy. It's better than having nothing I might say. So yeah, As you can see the pen tool can be a little tricky to use at sometimes. Heck I use it all the time yet I still can have issues with it as you can see in this video xD. I guess practice makes perfect.
FYI: parts of the videos were done in different days due to work. D8
Note: I did some editing to save time, so I'm sorry if things skip around, or if it sounds like I say something out of whack Please notify me if you see something in the video I messed up or said incorrectly. Thank you so much for watching you guy. It really means a lot.
the character in this video name is Wayne, he is an English Bulldog from London. Most friends of mine might know him from Tegakie.com
oh yeah, if you have any constructive criticism I would love to have it, Don't be scared to say it. I'm a tuff man, I can take it. =3 thank you very much yall.
Title: Photorealistic Architectural Rendering - Compositing in Adobe Photoshop
This is an overview of my photorealistic rendering technique with 3dsMax and Adobe Photoshop.
http://www.cmistudio.com
Welcome to another tutorial brought to you by Creative Media Illustration. My name is Les Chylinski and in this tutorial I am doing an overview of my production process of this rendering.
This was an interesting rendering assignment because I had a chance to do my own photography. The site of the condominium project is located across the Mississippi from downtown Minneapolis. To take the photos of downtown I had to clime up to the top of exiting part of the mill that will be torn down to make room for this project. In this slide I marked my location from which I was taking the photos and I also sketched in the shape of the existing mill that would be torn down.
The roof of this existing mill was too low for the required vantage point so I had to create an illusion in Photoshop that we were positioned about 50 feet higher.
All of my photos were taken on an overcast day and that's another thing that I had to modify in Photoshop.
I positioned the sun behind the building on the left -- which makes it this an early morning shot with long shadows.
For this rendering the client provided me with the SketchUp model which was a little out of date and more accurate Revit model. I decided to use the SketchUp model to set the camera and use it as a place holder for the final render of the building. After I set up my shot I find the vanishing points that I will need for sournding environment the final render of the building will be done using the Revit model. The revit model was imported into 3dsMax and rendered with mental ray. Everything other then the two condo buildings will be composited in Photoshop.
I started in Photoshop by stitching together the background photos.
I added more color to the photos by increasing saturation.
I removed the existing overcast sky and replace with a clear early morning sky.
To get that soft warm glow in this background photo I applied yellow hues with a soft brush on an overlay blending mode.
As I am working on the surrounding environment in Photoshop, someone else texturing and rendering the model in 3dsMax. Working together like this our total production time is three days.
This is the finished max render and here is the render after some color adjustments in Photoshop.
Here are the photos of exiting mill that will be renovated. Again I was too close so that I have to separate each face of the building, adjust the perspective with transform tool and stitch everything together. The building on the right is another condo project that was under construction at the time. I took a photo of an exiting physical model of this project and composited it into my rendering as an underlay.
Here is what it looks like after I finished in Photoshop. I added mullions with the line tool and selected solid areas to apply some textures and adjust color.
Now it's time to give this rendering some life with foliage cars and people. First I am blocking in out all of the ground textures with the rectangular lasso tool. And then use the paste into command in Photoshop to add textures.
Next I add more detail and some more definition to the shadows in the final step I adjust brightness and contrast with curves.
I hope there are some ideas in this tutorial that you can apply in your work. Thanks for watching and please visit us at www.cmistudio.com

"The first action was filed by the ACLU, the National Center for Lesbian Rights and Lambda Legal. Santa Clara County and the cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles also sued, and Los Angeles lawyer Gloria Allred filed a third suit on behalf of a married lesbian couple....
"All the lawsuits cited the constitutional revision argument, and two of them asked the court to block Proposition 8 from taking effect while the legal cases were pending. "The court must hold that California may not issue licenses to non-gay couples because if it does it would be violating the equal protection clause," Allred said at a news conference.
"A California Supreme Court spokeswoman said the court would act "as quickly as possible" on the challenges.Other lawsuits could follow, but gay rights groups have called on supporters not to file cases in federal court. They fear that a loss at the U.S. Supreme Court could set back the marriage movement decades."

Title: Thereminist Armen Ra / METAL a tribute to Maria Callas
Sola Perduta Abandonatta! from the Opera Manon Lescu by Puccini. Video Laure Leber/
World-famous thereminist Armen Ra debuts METAL, a multimedia cycle of five arias selected from the repertoire of Maria Callas. Special guests narrate the content of the arias while the theremin voices the melodies, set against a backdrop of metallic black-and-white footage of Callas, projected in extreme slow motion so that every micro-expression in her face becomes apparent, simultaneously revealing a woman of great pride and profound vulnerability, creating a portrait that is both hauntingly mythological and painfully human.
As if playing the ghost of an instrument, a Thereminists role appears to be part musician part conjurer; though after listening to Armen Ras playing and point of view, you most likely will believe the latter.
In METAL, his July 9 performance at The New Museum, Armen Ras Theremin recital of five arias will give voice to the premier of his silent slow-motion video piece of sampled Maria Callas footage. The performance attempts to bridge the distance between creative spirits with Ouija board will. By extracting and amplifying the most potent elements of her stage presence, he creates a haunting distillation of the diva.
Divorced from his identity to receive anothers, Armen Ra notes that he enters an otherworldly state while performing. In this sense, he opens the possibility for sonic drag. The substitution of the sound of the Theremin for the voice of Callas teeters on the edge of selfless homage and provides new entry into the tradition of drag and gender performance. Consequently, the Theremin transcends its eerie science fiction associations for an elegant connection to voice and the music of the spheres.

INTERVIEW
Review by John Hoge. Thereminworld.com
The theater at the museum was larger than I expected, very simple and nice with an open raised stage and giant smooth wall for projections.
I'd seen a celebrity in the lobby, but didn't know what was coming: Armen's guest narrator was one of the most famous voices in New York downtown theater, the actor and playwright Edgar Oliver! His reading of some aria lyrics was a perfect fit.
The visual breadth of this concert may well have been the best setting yet for Armen's playing. You'd think such massive visuals would eclipse a single player standing in shadows, but his intense presence and concentration was still riveting. Projections became an extension of the music being created on stage. The non-stop format made for a breathless journey through pure music that was entertaining in every way.
Armen has always been one of the most expressive and musical thereminists. Since he moved to L.A. it's been a while since I've seen him. An added delight in hearing an artist, and old favorites over time, is enjoying the subtle changes in their music making.
It seemed to me he's understanding and embracing the "true" voice of the theremin, and accepting the nature of the instrument at a deeper level. Not imitating a soprano, especially in the quicker or jumpy bits, but letting the theremin sound like itself naturally without pressing it into some other mold. Armen sounded relaxed in the control field, his intonation was excellent and his phrasing is always exquisitely musical. The playing was honest: centered, secure and confident - the music just flowed from that core.
The program featured "Casta Diva" from Norma, "Vissi d'arte" from Tosca, "Sola, perduta, abbandonata" from Manon Lescaut, "Ebben? Ne andrò lontana" from La wally, and a projected montage of Maria Callas archival footage edited to the backing tracks to form an organic companion to the vision of Armen pulling sear beauty out of thin air.

Another custom design. The theme was sea shells, the colors cream and green. This combination is a small printed magnet, a flat cream card with printing, and a cream envelope. The card is printed with hotel information.

I met with Fay and Nick and her mum, and grandmother at their home to talk about their wedding in July 2010.
We seemed to get along like a house on fire, and their intention was to be married at the famous Crab Manor / Crab and lobster near Asenby, Thirsk in North Yorkshire, one of my favourite wedding venues in the north of England.
It's a famously quirky hotel and restaurant in its own grounds serving fabulous food and with superb service - and has fast become a wedding venue of choice for those in the know.
They loved the San francisco A3 sized wedding books with up to 200 images, and the possibility of having dupicate books for family and friends and I had such a nice time, my fingers were tightly crossed that I would be chosen to be a small but important part of their day - documenting their fabulous relaxed wedding at The Crab and Lobster.
Good news arrived a few days later, so if you were looking for me to attend your wedding on 18th july 2010, I'm sorry, I'll be photographing Fay and Nick's great day at The Crab and Lobster!
