The other day I got invited down to Artists at Play Make Up School to play model for a session on dark skin makeup. Whilst there i got to meet school founder and international artist, Carol Mackie. Her name was one long know to me but it was fantastic to meet the woman herself in person. "Artists at Play" work exclusivly with MAC cosmetics and have a host of lecturers who collectivly have pretty much covered every major fashion publication, celebrity and Fashion Week show within Australia.

An evolving painting created by four artists working simultaneously on the same digital canvas. The paintings metamorphic process was unplanned and free form. The artists took cues from each others actions and interpretation of various shapes/colors. Communication was made possible by text chat. The total elapsed time was 4 hours. This is a remix of a video posted in July 13th 2009 by the name of "PolyScribe Metamorphosis". The remix was necessary for the play length to fit the requirements for Youtube Guggenheim Play submission. Handbook to Handmade Vol. 7 is a coffee table book featuring 35 Etsy artists from around the world. Each artist chosen has a different flair for the arts; jewelry, paintings, clothing, yarns, totes and much more.
My 2 page layout includes 3 designs and details about Timeless Designs and a spot on the front cover. Only 12 artists are chosen for the front cover and I was honored to have my Turquoise & Silver Links necklace grace the left bottom corner. The book is produced several times a year with each new edition featuring the best 35 Etsy artists.

Hi y'all! I am finally done with all my college applications minus FAFSA and all that financial aid stuff. I am so happy about that, because those apps have been stressing me out like crazy. I'm getting minor breakouts from it. That makes me rather sad because I didn't break out at all during winter break. It makes me really wonder how much my stress affects my break outs.
Anyhow, I went out with my BFF today. We went to Ulta, MAC, and Sephora! I wanted to get the NYX Jumbo Pencils and their lip gloss in Pink Frost at Ulta, but I decided to get those the next time I go. I wanted to save up money for the MAC Fafi collection, which comes out in a week or so. I am super excited about that.
After Ulta, we drove to MAC. I finally got Fix+ after watching so many recommendations on Youtube for it. I'll review the product after a week's usage. When I was paying for my Fix+ the MUA told me about the Fafi event that was coming up, which was the whole make-over thing. I was planning to come on the Friday of the Fafi release with my BFF, so we both signed up for a slot right away! We're both really excited about it! Oh, and the MUA gave me this really cool printed Fafi event invitation, which I am going to probably stick on my wall or something. I can't wait to get my hands on the new collection.
There was a Sephora near MAC, so my BFF and I decided to drop by because she wanted to have a look. We both bought a tin of Rosebud Strawberry Lip Balm. I was using after I got it and so far I am so addicted to putting it on. It makes my lips feel so smooth and moisturized! I think I am going to get the Mint flavored one next time I go. Oh gosh! I just love how my lips feel.

Generally speaking, the less photo's i take, the bigger the weekend has been....... the one just past was no exception (STILL in recovery mode)
Thursday Night Suez and i played Hangtime @ Eurotrash. Without a doubt our favourite club night to play at and pretty much the only night we book on the regular where we can actually play the music we love. Hooked Weezy up with a Hamburger phone, filmed some more wrong way up drunken footage (yes, it will be hitting You Tube later) and i embraced yellow eyeshadow with debatable results.
Friday Night i dropped an RnB set at First Floor before heaving over to The Colonial.....lost track of the amount of times i told people i'm not an RnBDj
Saturday night headed over to Chasers for more RnB......getting paid is great but i had to spin so much Akon/Usher/Beyonce this weekend i wanted to self harm....
I'm off to belt some Bloody Beetroots out simply to regain my sanity.......
p.s how could i forget!!! Sunday was a chill out day. Headed to Northcote with a mate only to discover these pimping grandpa slippers at the $2 shop.........yes Suez, these are your present, got myself a matching pair! haha
